Punjab National Bank (PNB) is going to block all the Mastero debit cards pist July 2017. Following the Reserve Bank Of India (RBI)’s advice to migrate to a much secured EMV chip based cards, PND is replacing Mastero debit cards with new chip.
The PNB said in communications to its customers, “If your are having Mastero debit card, get it replaced free of cost with a new EMV chip based debit cards from any PNB branch. All Mastero debit cards issued by PNB will be blocked or hotlisted on July 31 2017 for security based reasons”.
