RBI Banned Rs. 2000 Currency Notes Priniting; Started Printing Rs. 200

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) stopped priting Rs. 2000 and printing Rs. 200 currency notes.

Following the Demonetisation of high valued currnecy notes (Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000), Reserve Bank Of India (RBI) introduced new Rs. 500 and Rs. 2000 notes. The reason behind this may be to curb Black Money or to encourage Digital Transactions.

But, after received huge complaints regarding lack of change and currency notes, RBI stopped printing Rs. 2000 currency notes. And according to the media sources, RBI started priting Ra. 200 currency notes.
