Getting approved for a first credit card is a bit tough task due to the lack of credit history or credit score.
Particularly, the people with earnings less than 25,000 – 30,000 won’t get a credit card unless they find a person with good credit history as surety. To help those, State Bank Of India launched Unnati credit card.
Unlike the other public/private banks, which approves credit card based on the credit history/score or surety, SBI is I. plans to allot these Unnati credit cards to the savings account customers who maintain (MAB) without considering credit history/score.
The Unnati credit card which offers surcharge waiver on fuel purchases and reward points comes with zero annual fees for first four years.
Hope the Unnati credit card helps individuals to build credit history/score and support Digital or Cashless India.
